Delicious Vienna – coffee and cake tour with tasting

This tour will take you on a delicious journey through some of the city's most iconic cafes and pastry shops. I will introduce you to the history and culture of the Viennese coffeehouses, which have been an important part of the city's social life for centuries. This will be the opportunity to indulge in some of Vienna's most delicious treats while exploring the city's rich culinary heritage.

The tour begins at the famous Café Sacher, home of the world-renowned Sachertorte. This rich, chocolate cake is a Viennese classic and a must-try for any visitor to the city. From there, we will visit several other coffeehouses throughout the day, each with its own unique charm and specialties.

We will surely not miss the historical Café Frauenhuber, the oldest still in function Viennese Café, established 1824 by the cook of the empress Maria Theresa, gathering place and concert venue during the times of the classical composers.

From there, we will make our way to Café Hawelka, famous for its bohemian atmosphere and the delicious “Buchteln” and further to Demel, one of the oldest pastry shops in Vienna and former supplier of the imperial family.

The tour will conclude at Cafe Central, where you will experience the grandeur of the Austro-Hungarian Empire while relaxing and sipping on a traditional Viennese coffee, indulging in a slice of the café's signature cake and listening to stories and anecdotes about the regular customers of the house.
